Glass ArtHouse Nisaki
Gallery, Studio and Gardens
Nisaki - Vinglatouri
The garden is in the northeast of Corfu, in Nisaki. To find it, follow the road to Vinglatouri for around 900 m uphill. The garden is set on a slope and arranged in terraces, with stone paths winding through the planting and a quiet resting area where you can sit, take in the view, and enjoy the sea beyond.
I look after the garden myself, and over time, my aim has been to create a colourful, flower-filled space with a wide variety of flowers, trees, and shrubs, with a few surprises along the way. You’ll also spot little art objects throughout the garden, so there’s always something new to discover as you wander. And because I have a real passion for roses, you’ll find many different varieties planted across the terraces. I’m hoping they’ll be in full bloom for the garden festival!
I’m also an academy-trained artist and work mostly with glass, so I’ll have garden art pieces on display during the opening, and they’ll be available to purchase, too.
And there’s more: during the garden opening, we’ll also be welcoming visitors to our brand new fine art gallery. It’s accessible from the back of the house, just follow the signs. As you pass the gallery entrance, you’ll also find a new dry garden filled with cacti and succulents, which you’re very welcome to explore as well.
