Bayberry House Garden

The two gardens at Bayberry House began life approximately 7 years ago when we finished renovating the houses. Mainly flat and with only a couple of mature trees, we started from scratch. I don’t think either of us had a real design in mind, certainly not on paper, so the gardens evolved bit by bit and as plants were given as gifts or otherwise acquired! We quickly learned the hard way that this particular area is a real frost pocket, so during the first hard winter we lost a lot of plants which we now know need special care during the winter months.

We have 2 dogs and a cat, they cause chaos and destruction all the time. The young very boisterous Boxer is the worst culprit, so if you visit, please be prepared to be greeted by her.
