At MarBella, we celebrate the deep green of the mountainside and the brilliant blue of the Ionian Sea. Our gardens are designed not just to exist within this setting, but to celebrate it. We’ve shaped our gardens to tell a story: one of colour, texture, and light. By considering the unique microclimate of our coastal position, the movement of the sun across the sky, and the gentle interplay of shade and openness, we’ve curated plantings that thrive while framing the spectacular views beyond. Each species is chosen not only for its resilience, but for its ability to contribute to a living tapestry that evolves with the seasons. Our landscaping doesn’t follow strict lines; we have designed patterns based on plant growth to enhance the visual appeal throughout different times of the year without obstructing the view.

As you wander through our gardens, you’ll spot:

• Fragrant: Rosemary, lavender, white jasmine, rhynchospermum jasminoides, blue plumbago, perovskia, creeping rosemary, myrtle, evening primrose, murraya, Abelia x grandiflora, and salvia ‘Allen Chickering’.

• Vibrant colours: lantanas in multiple colours, red and orange Cape honeysuckle, pink and white gauras, hibiscus, salvias in white, blue, and red, Dahlberg daisies, Red Robin, Mexican fleabane, bougainvillea and wisteria vines, salvias, roses, wild yellow daisies, gaura, gazania, bougainvillea nana, Polygala myrtifolia, duranta, coral, everlasting flower, hydrangea, callisteimon, and buttercup bush.

• Lush greenery: Viburnum lucidum, eucalyptus, holy oak, Jacaranda, silk oak, bay laurel, metrosideros excelsa, olive, pine, lemon, cypress, and pomegranate trees, pittosporum tobira, yucca and nerium oleander.

• Textures: Cineraria maritima, pennisetum, and stipa tenuissima.

available to greet you and navigate you through as well as offer insights into our garden.
